Join the Professional Education Portal

Welcome! The Professional Education Portal (PEP) is a hub for professionals to share and learn about native plant horticulture. Offerings include the California Native Plant Landscaper Certification Program (CNPLC), advanced educational offerings, informational resources, job postings, and community forums.

Who is qualified to join? Anyone who is currently working OR is working towards a career in landscape/garden maintenance, care, design, or education is qualified to join. Submit the questions below to determine your eligibility for PEP and CNPLC.

If qualified, you will receive an email within 72 hours with a username and temporary password. If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk filter for an email from admin@education.theodorepayne.org.

Thank you for your interest in the California Native Plant Landscaper Certification. Currently this is only available to professional landscapers, garden designers, and others who work professionally with plants or who are working toward a career in these fields. We appreciate your interest and refer you to our Adult Education Program which has many offerings for gardeners.
